Coon Rock is an unincorporated community located in the town of Arena in Iowa County, Wisconsin, United States. Coon Rock is 4 miles (6 km) southeast of Spring Green, Wisconsin. My plan is to photograph the area's beauty, give you a little history of the area, and a glimpse of my little part of the world.
She at one time was married to a Peters that worked with Frank Lloyd Wright as an architect. At that time she took up residence in the area. Although she did divorce Mr Peters, she apparently still had ties to the area. Maybe just a house. It was always rumored that she lived here, but I never really knew for sure until her death.
Very interesting! I wonder how she ever ended up in Richland Center, Wisconsin!
