The Schmitz Building was the building next to our antique shop.  It was the building that the Ringling Brothers Circus started in.  They would hold shows in the upper theatre of the building...later to take those shows on the road! It is on the historical registry.  The theatre in the upper level also brought many talented people to Mazomanie!

This sign is on Hwy 14 as you drive into Mazo.  It usually has information on "goings on" in Mazo, but I think the Chamber of Commerce would think twice before closing the sign!?
