Villa Louis Visitor Center

Villa Louis Visitor Center is built on stilts because the Mississippi River has flooded this area many times.  My only concern was "how do the handicapped get up there"  I guess getting older makes me think of these things. There is handicapped parking, but no elevator or ramp.  Hmm.

Dover School then and now

I found this picture in the Mazo museum and I decided to put this picture of it as it is now that I already showed you previously.  The history of the town of Dover is also included in the sign for reference.

Forgotten

I wonder who lived here?  Did the kids play in the front yard?  Did they all sit on the porch on hot evenings?  Sad to see it so neglected.
