Villa Louis Visitor Center

Villa Louis Visitor Center is built on stilts because the Mississippi River has flooded this area many times.  My only concern was "how do the handicapped get up there"  I guess getting older makes me think of these things. There is handicapped parking, but no elevator or ramp.  Hmm.

Is this a joke or has anyone else heard of it?

 

I was told by my traveling partner that if you spit into the Mississippi River you will have good luck!  So we did! I hope it works!
